Need a realistic number

Anyone have a good source for the amount of money spent in the aquarium hobby each year in the USA? The NW? Or even just Oregon and/or Washington?

According to Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council, the total spent in the U.S. on the hobby is more than $2 billion a year, making it second in popularity only to photography as a hobby.
