stylaster Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I ordered a tunze 9002 doc skimmer. Ill post up a review of it once i get it tomorrow. Roy Quote
stylaster Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Ok i have had the skimmer up and running for 3 days now and here is a break down 1) The skimmer is extremely quiet, the only thing i hear are the bubbles popping. 2) They have got rid of that bracket design and have made it so you use a magnet to hold the skimmer against the aquarium wall. Very nice 3) The skimmer produces a fair amount of foam, i wish it was more toward micro bubbles, but still good foam production. 4) Removal of the skimmer cup for cleaning and emptying is very easy, just pull straight up, there is a long tube that goes down into the skimmer that is part of the collection cup 5) Price is a bit high, around 150.00 for a small skimmer rated up to 52 gallons 6) Fits perfect in the back sump area of a 24 gallon aquapod Any more questions just let me know Roy Quote
