spectra
Yes looks like a polyp to me. Always nice to find a decent hitch hiker on LR.

reefboy
That is a protopaly they come in diffrent colors some neon green to brown they can be very evasive if given the right conditions and are one of the toxic type of polyps to you and other corals. impur
They grow quick, and take over other corals quickly too. If you want to keep it on that rock, don't plan on other corals growing on it as well. If isolated it can be a beautiful colony IMO.
markdadof2
I must say, this whole saltwater reef thing is very interesting so far. Every day I find some new creature on my live rock - every day!! Grant it, it has only been running for a week but everyday brings a new discovery. Kind of like a treasure chest! I don't get this in my freshwater planted tank!
dsoz
That is why they say that once you get bit by the saltwater bug, it is hard to go back to fresh water. If you want to discover 100 new things, use a RED filter on a flashlight once the tank and room lights go off. Most of the creatures that we care for don't see red light, so you can find a lot of new things and they don't try to hide because they don't know you are looking at them. Enjoy! dsoz
reefboy
if you plan to glue other zoa/paly's to rock or anything else except maybe leather corals id remove it but if your just going to let it populate the rock then keep it.
