Kshack
I have been reading up on this system and thinking of giving it a try. Anyone local have any experience with it and any thoughts. Thanks, Ken
uhuru
I am using it but I'm in Corvallis. It was intimidating at first but I used a dry erase board and scheduled out the dosing like they do in hospitals. Made everything run very smooth and the results have been great so far. Kshack
Thanks. Where did you get your reactor? What would you recommend? Ken
uhuru
I got the captive oceans open top reactor, it's cheaper but works better than the Grotech IMO because it has double chambers. This means you won't get rock jams, which I guarantee will happen unless you have double chambers. Also the open top allows more mulm to be released. Only drawback is that it must be in sump, and it can splash a little when you shake the rocks.
SamatSLS
Are there any members that know enough about Zeovit to give a seminar at a club meeting? I've seen a few zeovit tanks online and in person with amazing growth and color. I would love to sit down and learn about it. I think it's a very interesting way of reefkeeping. I don't know where to begin though, it seems overwhelming. Any thoughts?
