defigart
I got a beautiful Pagoda Cup Coral from JayR. It has a cute little one, attached to it. My wife would love the little one for her nano. But I don't know how to frag the little one with out killing the big one. I will take pics in the next few days, and post them so you can see what I mean.
WAVES
just busted it off it will be fine. If its too strong to break with your hands you can use some side cutters to cut it. If you cant reach it to cut it with side cutters, I would use a pair of plyers, just wrap the section with some foam, leather, cloth whatever (to keep from damaging that section) and grab it with the plyers.
coker98
OR....You could DREMEL it. This happens to be my method for cutting toast. But it is probably just easier to break a piece off. The exposed skeletal tissue will get grown over and it should add more polyps and there you have your baby coral. Good luck.
