gmiller
Has anyone out there ever kept a orbiculate batfish? I know they get very large, 22" in the wild, and I read they grow very fast, but what is very fast? Just gathering information to avoid doing something stupid. Your input will be appreciated. Thanks. Gary.
impur
I had one a long time ago in my first SW setup, it was a FOWLR. It was about 4" tall when i bought it, and after about a year it was around 8-10" tall. Had to sell it at that point. Really cool fish, too bad i don't have a big enough tank. Michael7979
They are not an easy fish to get started eating. At least this is my observation from when a friend of mine bought one years ago. Very shy too. Tankmates need to be thought out real well.
Lowman
I have read that they are very hard to acclimate to the aquarium, and that they will outgrow most home aquariums very quickly.
