aqua-ed
I bought a chunk of chaeto from a LFS and it had this algae tangled up within it. I planted it in my refugium with the chaeto and it is doing well. Now that it is thriving, I'm wandering about it's morals. What kind of algae is it? Will it take over? Will it go sexy and crash my tank?
JManrow
The Blade Caulerpa (Caulerpa prolifera), in my experience, it is one of the more stable species. The same goes for the Sawtooth Caulerpa (C. serrulata) next to it. Usually no problems with those. The most problematic seems to be the Grape Caulerpa (C. racemosa). Too sexy for my reef.(laugh)
