Nyles
Nice bright light and flow seems to be a non issue for mine. They are pretty easy to keep.
JeffP
Nice bright light and flow seems to be a non issue for mine. They are pretty easy to keep. I'e got good light and flow... are they encrusting on rock? Or do they prefer a sand bed?
Nyles
Mine are all on rocks, I think it is a non issue. I have had mine for about a year, they grow out from the edges, but none of mine "encrust" they contour around things and are easy to move. Nyles
I will have a single pink and a green for xmas party (similar to pics 4 and 5) but my nicer ones are to small to part with yet. I will be posting all corals up for sale near end of month, here is a number of things... basically I have multiples or accidental frags I am getting rid of, other than I am fragging the enchinos for somone else so I am grabbing another to sell since they are to big. Jay
So how fast do those Chalises grow? Fast as a Favia I would guess? Pretty slow? They are a LPS with a single skeletan structure right? j
reefboy
They grow fairly fast for me my alien eye went from a thumbnail size frag to 8 inch colony in about a year but some are slower but there more of encrusting so dont build a thick skeleton which = faster growth
impur
Yah i notice if you put them on a rock to encrust they grow faster than if they are on the sand or something and have to grow the skeleton thicker.
