reef165
i dont want to start a build thread yet because it will take quite some time to get the pices together but i did get my first pice of my new tank today. Today a glazer gave me a 72 inch X 48 inch pice of 1/2 inch tempered glass thats gona be the bottom or footprint of the tank. i plan on going 24 tall, that'll make it a 360 gal tank. Im not sure if ill make the 72" the back or the 48" the back, what would you do?
reef-fisher
personally, i like the deeper tanks and would make the 48 the back. unfortunately, it is hard to find real estate enough to do that kind of set-up. sounds like it will be nice, either way. keep us posted
ThePremiumAquarium
I am not sure. That is a tough call. For the simple issue of finding room for the tank, I would say go with the 72" on back. 48" is still really wide and will make one hell of a cool landscape. Good luck and keep us updated. reef165
ok now , I would like to go 24 inches tall, with a 4 inch euro brace. Would 1/2 inch glass be thick enouph? and if not, would it be if i went down to 20 in tall?
