Frank Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Looking for some who knows telescopes we went out looking at garage sales today and I pick up a Celestron telescope for me a Marcella but it need to have collimation done to it. xmas_one Posted June 29, 2018 Share Posted June 29, 2018 Yep, that’s a Newtonian Reflector. Basically you fiddle with the three screws in the center of that smaller diagonal mirror (secondary) and the three screws on the bottom of the big mirror (primary) until everything looks concentric in the collimating eyepiece.
