Oregonic
I have noticed a few of these guys on my zoa garden. They seem to be irritating a few polyps. Anyone know what they are? They have little dots on the tenticles that look like small water drops, like dew on grass. Cant find anything online that look like them. HighschoolReefer
I have a few of these too. I believe theyre either ball anemones or strawberry anemones. Strawberry nems are cooler water and extremely common off the oregon and washington coast. They get up to about an inch. Ball nems are closely related but are a bit smaller and live in warmer climates. I havent had any problems with them. Oregonic
You nailed it, It's definitely a ball nem. They seem to bother my zoas, and 1 has turned into 3 over the last few weeks. Do you think aiptasia-x would kill them?
HighschoolReefer
It might. You could also try boiling water, or scraping it off then putting a dab of superglue on the base. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Oregonic
Dont know if boiling water and zoas are a good combo. Super glue idea might work. Think i will try the aiptasia-x first. Anybody have any experience killing them? Edited April 16, 2017 by Oregonic
