wegotjs
This little guy came in on some encrusting monti that I ordered. He is a little smaller than a dime . Just making sure he is reef/coral safe. Thanks for any suggestions. Jon

spectra
If it is not hairy it should be ok. When at Joels he was picking the hairy ones off of acros. He said if they are not hary than they ar ok. It is good for the acros to have these guys they keep them clean and are fun to watch.
ThePremiumAquarium
Agreed. I would say he is reef safe. Even some of the really small slightly hairy ones are acro crabs and generally considered safe. The really hairy ones with the monster claws are the ones you want to look out for. Gorilla crabs and rock crabs are no fun. Garrett

Nyles
I had one that looked semi similar, he was a nasty zoa eater (looks like someone pasted a bear face on his shell)..... Just be farwarned, but I have others that are more than fine in my tank including a fuzzy one that was in a tort for a long time with no issues. impur
Usually if they have sharp claws they are bad. If the claws are flat at the end, you are safe. Not always, but usually.
