uhuru
so it's okay to leave a clam on the bare bottom like that? do they attach well or move around?
dsoz
Nice recovery on the half dead corals. Can you tell me what is in each picture? I am still so new that I am not sure what they are. I would like to know so I can get some myself someday. dsoz

impur
Looks like a chalice next to the clam, acan echinata in 2nd pic. Nice looking nano, makes me want to set mine back up. Do the MB from the skimmer bother things much?
dsoz
I was specifically looking at post #2, the first and second picture. The purple and green are a nice combination. dsoz
Twitterbait
so it's okay to leave a clam on the bare bottom like that? do they attach well or move around? Some clams yes, this little guy is trying to attach to the bottom of the tank... we will see if i let him. Nice recovery on the half dead corals. Can you tell me what is in each picture? I am still so new that I am not sure what they are. I would like to know so I can get some myself someday. dsoz That is a tough one... i will edit the posts and do my best... that chalice frag is super nice, if you ever cut it let me know! nice little system. the one in the second pic. that is, is the first one green with pink mouths? I have never seen this chalice big enough to be sure which way but i am pretty sure it is the pink with green mouths. got it from redwinger in MN Looks like a chalice next to the clam, acan echinata in 2nd pic. Nice looking nano, makes me want to set mine back up. Do the MB from the skimmer bother things much? The MB only bother me... i places a small piece of square acrylic bar across the outflow from the skimmer to keep the bubbles down, so far no issues. I was specifically looking at post #2, the first and second picture. The purple and green are a nice combination. dsoz Thanks, that is a rare one i got from Joel i think, the contrast is awesome. tgoldenberg
#3 photo of the slow growing coral that has a hard skeleton I have one of these too. It was sold to me and they called it a Povano???? They said it was a hard stoney coral and it is a SPS. I am new to the hobby too and have a 12 gallon tank with a 10 gallon refugium. This coral is finally starting to grow . It is also called a cactus coral.Yours is very nice!Toni
Nyles
The clam is a Yellow Tiger Derasa, just FYI. I would let it attach if you like, razor blading him off the glass bottom later would be very simple. Nice looking pieces in there, can't wait for some updates in a few months.
