I stopped at a LFS and he told me that a junk stand for a 125 cost him about 450. I am going to build him a stand, it will be a little more money, but a whole lot better stand. It gives me the freedom of design and choosing what wood i want to cover it with as well as whatever stain I'd like. I'm all about my options when it comes to my tanks and stands. . . And some people have the vocational skills to do a great job and others may have not have the equipment, space, or knowledge. Yourmedic Posted December 10, 2015 Share Posted December 10, 2015 I think the demand might be there, however, I think it would be difficult to fill. Your main market would be local, and the cost of your stand verses what someone could buy at a LFS would be significantly different. The best thing to do would talk with some of your local shops and ask if you can hang a flyer of some of your work in their store.
