JManrow
Possibly an internal bacterial or parasitic ailment. You might try feeding it a medicated food. Metronidazole for parasites, and an antibiotic for bacterial. It may be easier to treat in a quarantine tank. Laying on the sand, it's prospects for recovery do not sound good at all. Did this happen suddenly, or has health been worsening for awhile? How has the appetite been? It there cyanobacteria (red slime algae) present in the tank? This can be toxic.
