LadySaber
are you wanting the old water or some rodi water to fill your tank? Where are you located? I think most nano owners do weekly water changes I know I do.
spectra
Was thinking of just starting it with some old water out of an established tank. Located in Vancouver.
Blue Z Reef
You have your own jugs? My display could use a 25 gal change sometime soon. I'm in Vantucky as well, orchards area.
Dragon
I would recommend starting the tank with new water. You really won't gain much from getting water from someone else's tank and are taking the risk of introducing something into your system. Not saying that would happen, but in my opinion, the risk isn't worth the reward and there's others ways of getting a cycle going. Just seed the tank with some cured rock and live sand and you'll be off and running.
LadySaber
I used live sand and poof I have all kinds of critters running threw my tank
spectra
Yeah I think I am going to just run with new stuff. I was planning on the bagged live sand so that should kick start it anyway. Rock is from reefcleaners and dry so nothing there. Thanks for the offers!
