PowderBlue
I went on vacation, came home to a maxi mini who has decided to plant it's foot in the base of my trumpet coral and it's now killing heads of my trumpet. I can't have that! I've tried to aim the power head at it and it won't budge. The problem I have is, the maxi is attached to the base of the trumpet which is in turn, attached with epoxy to my rock. I can't just start prodding at it or it will detach everything. I can't reach its foot with an ice cube so that method is out. I'd rather not kill it so if anyone has an idea please let me know! I'm sure pure lemon juice or aptaisa x would kill it but that's a last ditch method for me. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

merritt180
Maybe place a heater next to it if it gets to warm maybe it will move
softy
can you get at the foot of the nem with a wooden skewer? gently pry it off?
PowderBlue
I tried it all. Poked at it with stuff, held an ice cube on it to try and get it to move, aimed my powered directly at it for 2 days. It wouldn't budge I ended up having to just kill it. It wasn't the route I wanted to take but I wasn't going to let it kill an entire trumpet colony.
