Gil&Fin
I'm thinking about adding a UV sterilizer to my 29 gallon quarantine tank. If anyone has an extra they have lying around they want to part with, let me know. Right now all that is in there are some PVC, a couple of disposable plastic plants and a HOB filter, seeded from one of my displays. Also, if there is any advice on the subject out there, I'm all ears. Thanks!
Trigger334
I would go for one, which gives at least level 1 protection. Many could provided clarification... http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumUVSterilization.html
Gil&Fin
Wow! That's a lot of information. In short, I was thinking about a 9w at about 100gph. It sounds like that is not too off base but maybe not ideal for maximum effectiveness. I'd like to give it a go if I can find one. Thanks for the info!
