Jack-the-reefer
Talk to Steve (ssappington). His nems split every 20-30 minutes it seems like. He has some good tips for getting the splits off the rocks.

Bombertech
Powerhead works ok, sometime they just dig in though. Strong light will move it within the hour.

Bombertech
More light!!! Do you have a spotlight you can point at them? As soon as they bubble the foot to start walking you can pop them off without damaging the foot. OR... you damage the foot be uase you don't wait and you get one of these best case. rworegon
I've used a turkey baster and blasted water at the base of the foot before. Once you get an edge the you can continue to baste or wave water at the base with your hand. Edited March 3, 2015 by rworegon

andy
Wannareef taught me to do it with the edge of a credit card. It's thin and flexible enough to get under the foot, but not so sharp as to easily cut it. You just use it to get under the edge of the foot -- once you get a bit up, it'll come off pretty easily. If you're clever, you can cut up the card into a popsicle-stick or guitar-pick shape and make it easier to handle. Just be sure there's no sharp or pointy edges. Bombertech
Be careful peeling a recently split BTA! You might rip the split edge open again.

BeasileyBub
I have used an ice cube to tease an anemone off I second MVPaquatics, I use ice cubes. The foot releases its hold. As far as I know brief contact with the ice cube doesn't damage them.
