markvo
Where can I get my Askoll skimmer pump repaired? How about a ReefFlo pump? Does anyone local know how to make pump fixes? Mark
reefnjunkie
So what is yours is doing or not doing? from what I found when the one I had stop working, if it does not make any noise, hum, vibrate 'something' when you plug it in the motor block is most likely shot and the pumps dead. markvo
I took my Askoll apart and then damaged the magnet. I was able to fix it once before, but ordered a new impellor unit and bearings. I will need to take the old impellor unit apart to put it back together. What about the ReefFlo? It needs the bearing replaced.
Re_Run
there is a place called auto battery and electric.. they rebuild mostly auto stuff.. but they also rebuild electrical motors and have most of the bearings ect on hand and can handel most repairs to the dryside of electric motors.. If its just the that kind of thing shouldn't be a problem for them.. wet side they do hydraulics and water on industrial level so may be able to help out in that area also. it's located in portland on 18th and se hawthorn. but brearings and brushes ect are in stock and they sell them loose or can install them for a minimal charge... hope that helps.
