Toby Flenderson
I decided to check out the chatter on the local manhatten reef site and there are lots of people losing whole reefs right now. Feel sorry for them. Makes me glad to live in such a mild climate. Allthough this got me thinking that I need some sort of a plan if power goes out for an extended period. http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/general-discussion/135118-how-many-lost-their-tanks.html
Reef madness
Hurricane Sandy really hit home for my wife and I too, as she was visiting NYC when the hurricane reared its ugly face. She thankfully relocated awayfrom her hotel in lower Manhattan on Monday to one closer to the airport as she tried to catch any flight she could to get home. Luckily she was finally able to catch one yesterday morning when JFK finally had partial service restored. All I can say is I am extremely thankful that she is home safe and sound!
