Kimberlee Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 I got mine to help rid my tank of those tiny star fish. He completely annihilated the population inside of 2 months. While I wait for a tank to go up and an eel to move out of my sump (where I plan to keep a chocolate chip star fish for the shrimp), I have been pulling the little starfish out of other tanks. I tend to do this when I notice he is out hunting. While doing this one day we found out that he will except hand feeding. Not just except it, he will now head straight for any hand in the tank like it took something from him. I'll get a pic up by tonight of this.
