Chief
I can't believe our luck down here. Our electric company is giving us the option to use renewable energy resources. Here is the link. http://www.epud.org/renewnrg.aspx?section=e I like the idea of being able to use a renewable energy source. This is a step in the right direction. Other electric companies should follow suit. Jay
dsoz
PGE (portland general electric) has been doing this for several years.
Chief
We can't even get cable internet here. This is pretty high tech for us. (clap) Jay
biomekanic
Hey Chief... I know someone who works for the local phone company ( i.e. me) and you might be in our service area. If you want to PM me your phone number I can check for DSL in your area. I think EWEB does the same thing too.

Centurytel makes me pay for a phone line that I don't use. It is $35/month for nothing. It was super fast. We do not have that option here. Only Charter Cable which has no high speed internet or HDTV. It sucks. Jay
Twitterbait
Renewable energy option is nice... but too expensive for my taste. I wish they would go back to nuclear...
Lowman
We use the renewable energy option at our house. It's not really that much and it afford me the right to complain about "green" issues. Self righteous as that is. Not to get a great debate started but nuclear energy should be banned world wide. There is enough wind, solar, geothermal and other resources around to not have a ticking time bomb by our towns.
