psaprilcruz
So my light crapped out on me this morning. I have my old one on the tank for temp. Would one of these work over a 20 gallon with soft corals and a bubble and hammer. http://www.amazon.com/Dimmable-Power-Par38-Aquarium-Corals/dp/B004KW1T2C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328207552&sr=8-
NoobtoSalt
Are you running a controller of any sort? I would think for softies it would be ok but if you are not running a controller I would get a non-dimmable unit.
Jeramy
Also would probabaly need more then one to get even coverage of the tank.
psaprilcruz
No I dont have a controller. I had the normal t8's then I got an odyssea power compact light fixture about a month ago, but thats the one that broke. I have to find something I can just put over the tank and use. Jeramy
for about the same price you could get a 2 bulb t5 unit to put over your tank
psaprilcruz
What do you think about the nova extreme x2 t5ho fixture?
NoobtoSalt
I was running the nova extreme pro model on my 240. Needless to say it was 12 bulbs but was a decent unit. The only problem was the ballasts went out on them. I replaced them with work horse models and ran like a champ Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

psaprilcruz
What would I be able to keep under a 2 bulb t5 setup, and what would I be able to keep under a 4 bulb t5 setup. I am trying to decide which to get for the 20.
