C0lin Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 So, my RBTA recently moved to a rock and planted himself right next to a few zoa colonies. I figured that I'd pull the zoas up from the rock and relocate them. When I was pulling them from the rock, I felt it get more difficult to remove, so I yanked a little harder, then saw that the foot was kind of entangled with the zoas. richmckee Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 they're pretty hearty.....I regularly abuse mine in hopes that it stresses them and initiates splitting. Besides powerheads, the only thing I've ever seen kill one is an ice cube. My friend heard that you can remove them from rocks by putting ice on them. He tried but gave up quickly.
