  1. Just got back into the hobby after 7 years away from it. I'm in Rogue River right off the highway. Not a lot of us down here. I just met up with Jason Eaton (Eaton Aquarium service) in Grants Pass. He's got some great corals at his "shop" and is an all around great resource down here. His instagram is Eaton_Aquariums
  2. Bump and price reduction. 350 for tank, sand to fill it.
  3. FREE Sand bed (about 30 gallons of sand, the stuff I was planning on using). A FREE 110 Watt LED unit also included (about 1.5 years of use on a 4 hour daily cycle). Has white and actinic (55W of each). Email for pics or more info. richmckee@gmail.com Free delivery of tank for another week.
  4. Bought this tank from Rose City right before it closed. It was built by Envision and was 2 years old at the time. It's been sitting in storage for since then but I'm not going to get the funds to use it anytime soon. Needs some buffing for very minor scratches, but nothing major. There is an external overflow that is on the back side that is (17)x(5.5)x(5.5"). This tank has GREAT visibility from all sides; I bought it on the spot because I knew it wasn't going to last very long. There is also a 2" hole drilled on the bottom of the tank in the same corner as the overflow. I'm asking $500 (bought it for 600). Free delivery if bought before Monday. email: richmckee@gmail.com for fastest contact. [72"x30" (wide) x24" (tall)] and made with 1/2" acrylic http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/...e/P1040228.jpg http://s1094.photobucket.com/albums/...t=P1040236.jpg http://s1094.photobucket.com/albums/...t=P1040237.jpg
  5. Just like the title says. I have: (2) 20 gallon tanks (15 each or 25 for both). (2) 10 gallon tanks (10 each or 15 for both). One of the 10 gallons has some freshwater gravel in it. 30 bucks takes all 4.
  6. Quickest sale ever. Thanks Jeff!
  7. I have a [60" x 36" x 14" tall] frag tank made of 1/4" acrylic for sale. The front side (60") is clear and has a few scratches. The sides are made of black acrylic. The rear has 2 one inch bulkheads on opposite ends for better flow. http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i449/richmckee/8c725884.jpg http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i449/richmckee/1d82afc4.jpg http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i449/richmckee/37ce4e43.jpg I asking $100 but open to offers.

  9. I was going to set up a new tank in my new house but I ended up losing so much stuff during the moving process that it's just not worth it anymore. I bought this tank about a month ago from Rose City. It was built by Envision and is 2 years old. Needs some buffing for typical scratches, but nothing major. I'm asking $600. 10. I'm addicted to Starcraft 2
  11. if you want some awesome bright green mojanos you can have as many as you want from my frag tank - easy access too. I love the way they look, if they didn't migrate I'd want to grow them out.
  12. those frag racks are awesome, they totally stole the idea from IKEA (or whoever IKEA stole it from).
  13. as someone with nieces and nephews, that sounds like an excellent idea. The kids will find the movie much more interesting than corals.....or maybe that's just my gene pool.
  14. This tank is like a bigger, better version of mine - it's awesome! I have 6 clowns and 2 groupings of RBTA's in the tank. The 2 black/white's have mated and claimed the lower RBTA group, while the 2 platinums mated and grabbed the upper group. The 2 picasso's tag along with the plats and it's a constant war between the black/whites and the platinums. I was going to take one group out of the tank but it's way too entertaining. Have yours separated into distinct groups? Mine found the RBTA's the first day and started a fued almost instantly.
  15. lewis, jgf, owen, and Kate Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably add a few damsels in June just to see if they live. Right now I just want a positive experience.....(thinking happy thoughts, thinking happy thoughts, thinking happy thoughts).... I'll probably stop posting on this particular thread but want to thank everyone for all of their help and suggestions. Hopefully in a year or so I'll be posting pictures of my awesome new 300 gallon tank filled with triggers, clowns, puffers, and blennies
  16. Update: All fish died during quarantine, but it took 7-14 days for them to die after quarantine. Some fellow hobbyists think I have some mystery disease when hearing about the history of my tank. I've been told Marine Velvet is unlikely because it kills more quickly. I've been advised to do some sort of whole tank cleaning that is WAY too much work considering there is no definitive answer for my problems. Seeing as my tank is too small for most of the fish I want, I'm going to give up on fish until I get a more permanent residence. Since the tank is already set up i'm just going to keep collecting frags and growing them out so a future tank will look good. It's a shame though, corals are just an afterthought to me :(
  17. Has anyone on here had bad luck with "Prime Reef"? Also, is a once daily feeding enough for 5 fish that are about 3"? I thought that adding a nickel sized chunk of Prime Reef with 1 drop of garlic extract on a daily basis was enough, but I want to make sure. Should I add more often than that?
