richmckee
Just wondering if anyone was familiar with this type of nudibranch. Picked him up at a LFS and supposedly he eats sponges but wanted to check to see if anyone knew for sure (He didn't seem to acknowledge the sponge I placed him on). Thanks! richmckee
nevermind, got lucky and found that it's a Nembrotha lineolata. It feeds mostly on tunicates, (urochordates). Sounds like the rumors were true.
Mandinga
Most colorful nudis have incredibly specialized feeding requirements...tunicates/sponges are amongst their diets often. If you plan to keep it, just get a couple for it to chow on...at least worth a shot. Otherwise it will surely starve quickly.
