"A north Queensland scientist who uses satellites to study marine life has won a prestigious award for his research.

 

Dr Nick Graham from the Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies has been investigating the large-scale impact of climate change on marine life.

 

Dr Graham has won the Life and Science category of the Scopus Young Australian of the Year Award.
