titus'reef
Has anyone had any flame hawkfish that got along with the invertebrates in the tank? I really like his personality and I am thinking to add one, BUT I also have fire shrimp that I can't catch and other hermit crabs and snails. Will he bother any of it? I did a research and surprisingly I find that 50% of people have kept them with no problem in a tank with inverts. What is your opinion? Is it wort to try? Nate213
I just added a small cleaner and fire shrimp to our tank. We had a small flame hawk in there already. He goes to the cleaner and tries to get cleaned and hasn't shown aggression toward either one. I have heard that it is better to add the hawk after the shrimp. titus'reef
Sure I will.... He was curios on the fire shrimp but left them alone so far. They are cool fish. I got it for almost half a price and you're not going to guess where from. Locally off course.
Mitchell
I have a tiny flame hawk, about the size of a dime. He killed my shrimp after a couple weeks, but he leaves my snails and hermits alone. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

titus'reef
I had my shrimp in there for a long time and they are large size. Your hawk had a real feast. A good sign he is healthy. I am wondering what's going to happen if I add an emerald crab in there? Will the hawk be happy? I will probably add one over night when the hawk is sleeping maybe.
