Drew
So after dealing with some flat worms from a LFS buy last night i decided to take a look at another zoa i got a while back that is melting away (despit others doing good). After moving it around a little i noticed some whit things all over the same rock. Maybe they are stinging them? Take a look at the picture and see if you can tell me what they are i cant seem to find anything similar in pictures (scratch)
Emerald525
Could be hydroids and they will sting your corals. Scraping them off with a toothbrush usually gets rid of them but they are annoying.
jabrbox
My wife noticed something similar on the red zoa I got from you Emerald, I will investigate when I get hime tonight, and clean as needed. BTW thank you for the beautiful additions to my tank!

C0lin
Maaaaaaaaaaaaan, I had some of that on a huge Zoa colony that I bought. Would they mess it up pretty fierce? That colony went from to :( in about two weeks.
Breefcase
I had something similar awhile back, I did dips with flatworm exit, that seemed to kill what I had. Never tried Coralrx.
Emerald525
I have used coral rx before. I just prefer Revive because it seems gentler to me.
impur
Yah those are hydroids. Their sting does affect some zoas while it won't bother others. These types are impossible to kill once they get a foothold in your tank. Nothing eats them, they don't need food or light. I don't really know how they survive. Don't let the stalk break and if you try tweezers make sure you get the whole thing out or it will just float around, land, and start growing again. I've read that melafix at 1/2cap per 1 gal of water will kill them pretty effectively. But it only works as a dip, you can't really treat your whole tank with melafix.
