dippin61 Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 yeh, the whole acclimation thing.. really gets to me.. dunno if should/shoudnt etc etc.. but after reading that thread.... we've had problems acclimating dwarf angels in my wifes tank, while every thing else seems to survive just fine. So after reading that, we had just gotten her another flame. The last one we tried, never calmed down, his breathing was very very fast and gasping, and he didnt make it through the night. So this time, we temp acclimated, and threw him in.. Voila.. he's doing way better then our previous tries with a flame, and potters. dunno what it says abou acclimation, but the fish is doing really well, he ate within 2 minutes of putting him in, and his breathing is normal, and he just loves cruising the tank.
