I moved my 45 to my 40B this past Saturday & this Torch just started melting, When I got home today(Tue) this is what it looked like. I have another one that looks fine. When you moved everything over, how did you do it, water, sand, rock everything? Anything change at all like added more bioload or anything? Could be that when you moved everything over to the new tank, it stirred up and started a mini cycle that the Torch wasn't able to take, any spikes in any of your parameters? Super sorry you had that happen, I feel your pain, I had a few LPS do the same thing when I moved my stuff too....Hope your other one continues to stay ok....keep us posted... stylaster Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 did it get stung by another coral perhaps? or maybe salt creep fell on it while moving, or light shock stressed it out.
