grassi
I need a few infested rocks to grow the little buggers. They are gonna feed the Berghia Nudi that I'm trying to breed.
Mitchell
I was thinking about replacing my aiptasia covered rock in my nano. There is about 20 lbs of rock and all have aiptasia on them. The rock also has a lot of hair algae on in it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll talk to my parents about it.
NoobtoSalt
Ive got a rock I could trade you for some corals if you want. Its some rock I put in my parents tank but she can't stand it. I can run over to their house tomorrow and get pics but at least 50 on the rock. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
grassi
The rock is gonna go in a 10g aga. If it is too big it is a shame to use an hammer :( I'm not in a hurry noob. Mitchell, hair algae is a problem, bubble algae is good. How bad it is covered? To the all of you who are interested: I'm willing to pay $1 per pound or equivalent trade in corals. I accept donations for the project and I will pay back with some Berghia if successful, otherwise I'll give you back the rock. Kinda like borrowing. Mitchell
The hair algae is really bad. I am going to work on cleaning it and if it doesn't help I may just trash it, if no one wants it.

NoobtoSalt
Why trash it? Just cook it or burn it. Then re-cycle the rock. If you don't want to I'm sure someone like me or others would do it. Sorry to jack the thread alex. The hair algae is really bad. jgf86123
Wanna know the best way to get rid of that hair algae? Ive fought it successfully...boil the rock on the stove, it will stink like but boil it for an hour then scrub tue rock then boil it for another 15 minutes. Youll have to keep adding water to it to keep it from boiling down but its the easiest way i have found to get rid of it. Works 100% of the time. Gilliroo
Alex, You can have the small aiptasia farm that's growing in my sump. 1 smallish rock that is growing macroalgae with little baby aiptasia peeking out here and there. Will trade for a clump of your good macroalgae and a tiny bit of clean rubble if you have some. Gillian
Barelycuda
Hey Alex I probably have some aptasia if you want it. Hey do you think they would go after the small hydroids that look like aptasia? Just curious cause I have a ton of those in the sump in the clownhouse.
