The rock is gonna go in a 10g aga. If it is too big it is a shame to use an hammer :(

I'm not in a hurry noob.

Mitchell, hair algae is a problem, bubble algae is good. How bad it is covered?

To the all of you who are interested:

I'm willing to pay $1 per pound or equivalent trade in corals.

I accept donations for the project and I will pay back with some Berghia if successful, otherwise I'll give you back the rock. Kinda like borrowing.

Why trash it? Just cook it or burn it. Then re-cycle the rock. If you don't want to I'm sure someone like me or others would do it. Sorry to jack the thread alex.

The hair algae is really bad. I am going to work on cleaning it and if it doesn't help I may just trash it' date=' if no one wants it.[/quote']

Wanna know the best way to get rid of that hair algae? Ive fought it successfully...boil the rock on the stove, it will stink like but boil it for an hour then scrub tue rock then boil it for another 15 minutes. Youll have to keep adding water to it to keep it from boiling down but its the easiest way i have found to get rid of it. Works 100% of the time.
