Ronjunior Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I saw something floating around the bottom of my tank today and went to take a closer look. Some of my fish bred and I didn't even notice a mouth was full, nor a belly being fat. With 25ish cichlids in the tank, I'm surprised any survived by not being eaten. I've never had fish breed before, it's pretty cool and I didn't even have to scrub in! So far I only noticed two striped ones hanging around some old live rock. Quote
Holly Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Convicts are great They aren't as colorful as some of the others, but I always liked their behaviors. Those are two very lucky (or very fast) little buggers to escape all those other big cichlids. CONGRATS! (clap) Quote
dippin61 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 heh.. when i used to breed convicts, and cichlids, they would breed like crazy.. this once my convict mated with a yellow cichlid, and almost any other cichlid i would throw in there.. funny stuff. Quote
