Smann
Since our family room is pretty much going with the tropical fish theme we decided to add some to the adjioning kitchen. While we were in kona my wife looked for some metal fish sculptures to put over the stove. My mom has a large display on thier lanai in copper from a local artist, we couldnt track him down (plus his work is a little out of our range!). We found these in a gallery south of kona. After talking to the owners about our idea and aquarium it turns out they owned a aquarium shop in seattle back in the 80's. They had started into salt water and some of the fish they imported came from Hawaii. They took a trip to meet and see the collectors they were buying from, loved the island so much went home sold everything and moved over there. We gave them the measurements of the area and he laid out the space on a table and brought down different pieces off the wall and helped us chose these Enjoy!
