Rick
I picked this beautiful Lionfish up last week from Nick at Rosecity Aquarium. 2 days later it was eating silversides and has eaten krill and raw shrimp too. Over the weekend I picked up a large diamond goby which you can see in this first picture (Bottom Center) to help keep my sand clean. I suspected it was doomed since the Lionfish was watching it so closely but there was no way I was going to catch it. Fast forward a few days. Today the goby was nowhere to be found. The Lionfish failed to make an appearance when I was feeding which it hasn't failed to do before. I could see it hanging out under the rocks though. A few minutes ago it came out and it is super fat now (Look at the bulge). Looks like it got the goby as it's the only thing missing. I'm starting to rethink this one a bit as that goby was bigger than 2 or 3 other fish that I would really hate to lose.
RoseCityAquarium
Nice looking fish! You should have fed him more silversides!
