reef165
I have had a hard time keeping my alk/kh up so I decided to build a calcium reactor, this isn't my first one but I think it will be my nicest looking one when done. Went to tap today and picked up some 4 inch and 2 inch tube and a couple pieces of scrap from there bin. Here's what I've got so far. I cant believe I remembered to take pics!! routed the 4 inch plate a little small so I had to put a ring in for it to sit on. I also started one for diverdown out of 6 inch. Algae
Very nice! Nice clean edges in the last photo. Did you sand after you routed? Use a solid carbide "0" flute bit? Good job!
reef165
Thanks, No, no sanding, just a 1/2 inch carbide 0deg router bit.
