Holly
I was just wondering how many due-paying members are in PNWMAS..? I finally got around to joining via PayPal today (family membership). (clap) I was curious as to the head count. Does PNWMAS include WA and OR only?
spayne
There are close to 55 paid members. Most of our members are from the Oregon and Washington areas... but really, anyone can become a member of PNWMAS if they want, no matter where they live. They just won't be able to take advantage of store discounts as much as those of us who live in the area.
Holly
Wow - that's quite a lot.. More than I thought... (didn't mean to rhyme there) Thanks!
spayne
You're a poet! (laugh) I just did the tally and it's 44 memberships... but we have about 55 registered users. The number is a bit skewed because of the family memberships with two registered users on the forum. Hopefully the numbers will keep growing (and I can get my goofy label maker to print so I can send you, Nyles and oldbrownies your cards!) so we can do lots of fun filled things in the future! oldbrownies
Yay me! instead of cards, we should give out "member-fish", and if your fish dies, you're out of the club. Just kiddin, cards are fun too
tidalsculpin
I hope I won't have to keep the fish in my wallet.(laugh)

Holly
I got a family membership even though my husband and kids couldn't care less about reef tanks. I prob can't make it to many meetings (with small kids and all, not too easy) but I'll buy from the sponsors and pay dues. This may be the nicest group of folks I've met since we've moved to the PNW
