I've had it on my 2 skimmer pumps now for a month and its stayed together nicely. You could have a piece if you want, PM me and we can talk. H20cooled Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 It will work really good on a skimmer that uses a venturi to inject air into the pump and create bubbles. H20cooled Posted December 25, 2006 Share Posted December 25, 2006 If it is a needle wheel pump then yes it would work, basically you would cut the needles off and attach the mesh to the top of the impeller in place of the needles. The mesh pulls a LOT more air and also chops the bubbles up very small so you get big improvements in skimming. reef165 if you want so mesh shoot me a PM, it is $5 for a big piece that will easily do 5 pumps.
