Berger9953
Hey there PNWMAS! I'm having a real problem picking the best skimmer for my 20g. I want a relatively small skimmer. A very high quality but not to expensive, and a super efficent skimmer. I've been looking at the AquaC Remora nano and the Tunze nano 9002, does anyone have any experience with these? My ultimate goal is to have crystal clear water, and I've had a hard time with it. Thanks in advance yall! Berg
NoobtoSalt
It's a decent skimmer. I've been running it on my tank for awhile now.. Just don't tell everyone I have a 75 gallon.....
Berger9953
Thanks for the reply, but which one are you refering to?
grassi
Both of them will work great in a 20g. The Remora is a little bit more noisy due to the air spray injection
NoobtoSalt
Sorry I have the Tunze
grassi
I have had both. As said they are both great. I prefer the Tunze a little bit more. The Tunze will be in tank, whil the Remora HOB, if this can help the difficult decision.
Berger9953
Is it true that the tunze is fully submersible, but the collection cup must be above water?

nnewhouse
I have been using a CPR skimmer on my 15g sps tank and love it. I made some modifications to the original pump and it runs like a champ.

Yes bak pak's are good too. Another good one, probably better, is the Sapphire Nano skimmer. I thing they ran out of business, so you have the used option only
Berger9953
THanks for the help guys, I'm still unsure of what I'm going to get. I have a very tight space, so is the collection cup the only thing that needs to be external? If so, it would fit perfectly.
