tired of algae in clear flexible tubing?

I have dealt with this issue once and for all.:D

Went to the auto parts store, and bought some black corrugated split loom wire casing. I couldn't find 1" ID, so I had to use two pieces of 3/4" ID (one overlapping the other to cover the tubing completely. No more light, no more algae.(clap) And I can easily just pull them off if I need to get to anything.

I was thinking the same thing!(laugh) What the hell is Franklin doing in clear flexible tubing and that this is obviously an ongoing problem if someone is posting a solution!(laugh)
