pantherguy30
Looking for any lfs or anyone who has a coral banded shrimp for sale?I heard they eat flat worms and wanna give 1 a try:)
jgf86123
A Melanarus Wrasse will most certainly eat em, well, I'm assuming so, since I used to watch mine eat bristle worms, the tiny brittle starts, asterina stars and peanut worms LOL

pantherguy30
Re: Coral banded shrimp Does that type of wrasse get along with fairy wrasse's??
ThePremiumAquarium
In general, yes. I have one in with the solaris wrasse in the sps/400w halide tank and he is awesome. They are great fish but once they get really large(a long ways out) you will want to find them a bigger space. PM sent.
Rick
Just be sure you know what your getting into if you get a coral banded shrimp. I can't count how many times I've gone into LFS and they had a coral banded shrimp there that had been dropped off. Apparently they can get pretty aggressive towards tank mates. gradth
There mean. I had one for a short while and it would attack anything that came near it. Actually grabbed a coral beauty I had by the nose and tore a huge chunk out of it. Cool looking, but may not get along well with others. racefan
I have a Coral Banded Shrimp that I'm now pretty sure is responsible for the disappearance of 3 fish. I saw one of my clowns about an hour ago & he's gone now. I've noticed the shrimp taking swipes at the little Tang also.
pantherguy30
Thanks for all your help and input! I am gonna try two paths, a malanurus wrasse (Thank You Issac)! And a chelidonura nudi/slug From Garrett In hopes this will take care of my flatworm issue!
