coralreefer
Very cool but who has enough room for something that big? Maybe on a smaller scale? DrMerle
Twitterbait
you could fit that on a 2g bucket i would think. you just need to be sure the lid seals

Randy-S
That would not work with a needle wheel skimmer only becket type skimmers
reef165
someone needs to come up with a thing that shuts down the skimmer if the thing fills the reservoir. maybe a reverse ATO instead of turning the pump on it could turn the pump off to keep the skimmer from drowning the floor. Twitterbait
That would not work with a needle wheel skimmer only becket type skimmers I don't see why not. granted, instead of pushing the bubbles down in the chamber it would just fill up the cup and drain tube. and then it just wont be able to fill the skimmer cup anymore than the level of the overflow tube in the middle. andy
On a straight needlewheel, cutting the air into the venturi would worsen the overflow. On a recirc, it'd work just fine.
MadReefer
My aqua c remora does this naturally. It's a tiny cup but sometimes I don't dump it and it almost stops skimming because the hole gest clogged. It makes me even more lazy because I really should dummp it daily. I should go dump it now.
