Environment Minister Peter Garrett said in Perth today the area was precious, incredible and unique. Mr Garrett praised the region's significant natural assets, including a limestone ridge running through the nominated area, and its rich marine life such as dugongs, turtles and the world's largest fish, the whale shark. read more More...
