My Purple Tang its it like its going out of style. I actually buy chaeto to add to a "feeder" I have in the tank-the Tang eats it all day long and the hermits munch away on it as well. Urchins primarily eat algae including coraline algae. My pencil urchin plowed through my competition piece for the GOC and appeared to be eating the polyps. I was able to get them away from it and put it in the sump however the polyps have since disappeared.
