CA2OR
Just curious if anyone has seen the show that just started called "V" on ABC. If so what are your thoughts?
JManrow
I have really liked it so far. Compared to the original "V" miniseries from 20 years ago, the special effects have greatly improved! You can see that for yourself as SyFy Channel has been running the old show recently. I would like to hear David Icke's opinion.http://www.davidicke.com/content/category/6/27/43/

JManrow
Yeah. It just started on Tuesday nights. Episodes can be seen here too. http://abc.go.com/shows/v?cid=09_abcnews_ent1_V
Rick
There has only been one episode right? One new episode. Unfortunately I missed it as I had intended to watch it. The series is based off an old miniseries from several years ago as John mentioned. I watched the miniseries back then and have the DVD that came out since then as well that is basically the miniseries all wrapped up into one movie. I'll check that link out that John posted and try to catch up.

reefboy
So far I think its great they have added a new up to date twist to it so it goes with are current time line and look to have changed a few things kind of like the Battle Star Galactica series and like it should be a hit.I just hope we get to see what they actualy look like instead of just parts lol. CA2OR
you can watch it on HULU.com if you missed it.
Rick
I watched it on ABC.com via the link John posted above. We'll see if they can keep the plot going. So often they start up these remakes and the plot dies too fast.
reef165
I remember the old one and so far they have toped it IMO. Wasnt as good as I would think a "NEW" show/season pilot should be to grab your attention but I did like it!
racefan
I just watched it. Not a fan,I think they are needing a planet for whatever reason & want ours & plan to kill us all off or make us their slaves.Doubt I'll watch it again but then again I'm not a big si fi fan. Rick
Black and White TV! We had a few B/W tv's when I was growing up. Add 8 track tapes to the list of things to age a person. Buck Rogers, The orginal Star Trek, Dukes of Hazzard, Starsky and Hutch, Fantasy Island. Back then we didn't have a lot of options. We received 5 broadcast channels which was pretty good as many only got a couple.

Rick
I too still have a B&W TV as well as a completely working Comidor 64:eek: The first programming I ever did was on a new TRS-80 (AKA Trash-80). It had a whopping 4k of ram.
CA2OR
So Hulu has episode 2 up and I still can't decide what I think about this show....I do like the alien leader though. Quite sure she has bad intentions....but that just makes her.....challenging. Let me just say....she is easy on the eyes.
