cwinson85
heres a pic, i just took it so its not very "fluffy" bc the lights were off. its sitting in a rim of a bottle cap to get a better idea of the size. You can also see those petco zoas in the back, hopefully they turn out ok....
Lowman
Did you freshwater dip the zoas from petco?
cwinson85
no.... should i have? dang it....
CA2OR
I would have. It's ok. You can, if you have the money, run out to Upscales or WAVES(if they are still open) and pick up some Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure. Then dip in that. Watch your other zoa's, and keep an eye on those for white spots (puss looking sacks), nudi's, or anything like that.
cwinson85
how and when should i be fresh water dipping things? im guessing all new stuff.... tap water? conditioned water? rodi water....? just a quick dip???
matty
I just use ro water and dip for a minute or two. I would also swirl the colony around a little to knock off any critters. I had nudis bad a long time ago and this wiped them out. Do check other zoa's you have...they spread quick..bastages!
