She tried doing some shots like this and they didn't really come out. We didn't have a tripod was one problem. Let me know what you did yo get these shots and also what locations. Really just need to get a good feel for adjusting your aperture and shutter speeds really(hi aperture, loooooong shutter), and a tripod is also a MUST!!! I took these by the OMSI, had to take my gf to the airport at 4 this morning and decided to be productive and get some shots on the way home! finch6013 Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 thats really cool. We went up on Vista road once where you can get amazing views of the city from the west side. You need to go up there and take some pics. Hit vista on your left when going up Burnside and about a mile or two down there is a bridge with good views and not far up the road there is another spot also. We are just getting more serious about taking pics so we have alot to learn being first time DSLR owners. I can make my cannon point and shoot take some mad pics though.
