Hawkfish in reef?

I am a big fan of hawkfish. They have always intrigued me but the fact they are considered not totally reef safe has kept me away.

I found a spotted hawkfish yesterday and could not resist. He is pretty small, about an inch. I put him in my 55 FO/qt tank for now. I have 3 cleaner shrimp and a handful of peppermint shrimp in my tank. I would say most my shrimp are bigger then the hawkfish.

Anyone had good luck with hawkfish in reefs? Badluck?

Thanks in advance.

yep, I had a mated pair of coral banded shrimp. But coral banded shrimp can usually fend for themselves much better then other shrimp too. I don't know about other shrimp. I would think if the shrimp was big enough it would be okay, but don't take my word for truth since I really don't have anything to back that up...:D
